As Canada’s small business tax specialist, FBC offers business owners a high-value alternative to the traditional accounting approach. We have a rewarding opportunity for a self-motivated, career-oriented Sales Professional to grow our client base.

As a Sales Professional and key member of our Sales Team, you will be responsible to do the following:

• Present and sell tax preparation and tax/financial planning products and services related to both agribusinesses and other small businesses at their place of operation;
• Achieve set goals and sales targets;
• Ensure maximum market penetration, seeking out and developing new business opportunities through lead generation such as cold calling, networking, and referrals, as well as maximizing opportunities from inside sales appointments, pipeline management and trade shows.

To ensure your success in this role, we ask that you:

• Work primarily in your territory and from your home;
• Have the ability to take a short sales cycle from call to close;
• Travel throughout the region, with some overnight stays required (A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.);
• Have experience in an entrepreneurial setting, such as running a small business while attending college or university;
• Leverage technology (laptop, phone, pipeline management system) and team members, such as other sales professionals and customer service staff, to drive sales; and
• Have exceptional organization and presentation skills.
